Daita Madhusudhana Sastry Sri Venkateswara Hindu College of Engineering, Machilipatnam is one of the oldest self financed institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh to impart high quality of Technical Education in the Engineering discipline.
The college is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University and is located in the historic town of Machilipatnam which is also the headquarters of Krishna District. The college was established and founded during the year 1980-81 by the Hindu High & Branch Society (Estd. In 1896) under the guidance of late Sri Daita Madhusudana Sastry, a prominent advocate and educationist. The college is privately managed and owes its existence to the untiring efforts of the membersof the Society.
The college campus can be accessed very easily from Machilipatnam town 5 to 6 KM towards which is at a distance of Manginipudi beach.
College offers professional courses at the graduate level in engineering streams. Graduate courses include Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.,) in six branches namely Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical engineering, and Information Technology. All the courses are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (A I C T E) with a total annual intake of 420 for B.Tech. courses. Our institution is equipped with excellent infrastructure and is run by highly qualified and experienced faculty.
D.M.S. S.V.H.C.E. is producing excellent results consistently every year with some of the
students emerging as University rankers also. Students from our college are extremely well placed in reputed organizations both in India and abroad.
